Boulder Asian Movies is dedicated to getting Asian films viewed in traditional and non-traditional venues. The Boulder Asian Film Festival (BAFF) was a project of the Boulder Asian Pacific Alliance for 11 years and became a program of the Boulder International Film Festival in 2009.
The 2005 edition of BAFF featured “Visas and Virtues” by Oscar-winning director Chris Tashima. The 2009 BIFF Asian Film Program included “Burma VJ” which is nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Documentary”.
